La città si desta col vestito di gran festa
mentre candida la neve scende giù,
suonan le campane, le vetrine sono piene,
mille luci si riflettono quaggiù,
nelle strade e nei porton,
in caserma e in stazion,
gridan tutti con soddisfazion.
