Antonio is the Project Manager "Harambee" Brownsea Foundation since 1985 and spends several months each year in Kenya, working with volunteers: Efforts are then carried out individually by the local population and coordinated by Margaret Akinyi Ongombeh, Camp Manager Center Scout Nyandiwa. Antonio's commitment never stops and obstacles, with incredible enthusiasm and capacity for innovation, constantly working to expand our project of self-development. He manages the relationships with local institutions and government, to consolidate the achievements and establish new businesses, inexpensive and affordables, supported by technologies suitable to the region and for sustainable development. we're all grateful to him and to his enthusiasm, because he taught us to proceed step by step, but not to stop!

 

"After many years, the Nyandiwa Scout Centre is the heart of the project, the landmark management, but also a model and stimulus for the community of Nyandiwa and the entire region." - Antonio said -"The office of management to direct Nyandiwa is of fundamental importance, Margaret and coordinated by a Kenyan staff, as the white bear ideas and contributions, but the local community now feels the project as a personal fortune. The Centre brings together various activities that touch many areas: we have a modern nursery school, a tailor, a medical dispensary, a warehouse-workshop, an open air theater, a Social Hall for public events (increasingly required by institutions and associations!) hostel facilities for guests, an experimental botanical garden, a sports center, consolidated farms (with chicken, catfish tanks, stables), a Computer Service and the Teachers Training College, which is our largest, most recent success. Are spreading around the experimental plantations and processing of Jatropha seeds for the production of eco-fuel, the construction of new schools and the new Educational and Natural Park!"
